Here is some helpful information to help you help your child with homework. Individual Teacher Blogs are also another place to get links more specific to your class, but here is a decent place to start. Obviously we cannot post passwords here, so contact your child's teacher for the password (your child may already know it!). Many of these sites also have an app available for mobile devices.
This portal gives children access to lessons, games, and math tools.
1. Go to PearsonRealize.com to view the system requirements. There is a link in the bottom of the page. Review this information to ensure your home computer and table devices are compatible.
2. Help your child sign in using their username (bpsLASID#) and password provided by their teacher (many children know it).
3. Find the topic number then "Develop the Concept:Visual" to see a video about how kids are learning the topic. OR Let the children play games to reinforce skills
Raz-Kids: Leveled books with a comprehension quiz
You will need a teacher username
Spelling City: A series of games used to practice word lists Username: bpsLASID# i-Ready: Practice lessons that are individualized for your child
Online resources vary from teacher to teacher, so not all students will have an account with each program. Contact the teachers if you are unsure of what programs your child is using or specific account information. This page is simply a quick resource and not meant to take the place of contacting a teacher if your child is truly struggling with homework.
